  • From Wednesday 20 May to Friday 22 May, the meeting of the Protein Group of the Italian Society of Biochemistry (SIB) ‘Proteins 2026’ will take place at the Fisciano Campus of the University of Salerno.
The event is organised by SIB members from the University of Salerno and from the Institute of Biostructures and Bioimaging of the CNR in Naples
The meeting will focus on the structural and functional characterisation of proteins and their modulation.
The conference will be an important opportunity for Italian and international researchers active in the structural and functional analysis of proteins to meet and discuss how these properties can be modulated for therapeutic or biotechnological purposes. The event will offer an up-to-date overview of the state of research and the most advanced methodologies in the field. The programme will include presentations by internationally recognised experts, as well as oral communications selected from among the contributions of participants.
Poster sessions are also planned to encourage scientific exchange and promote interaction between scholars.
The meeting will also be attended by leading companies in the field of protein research, which will present their activities and innovations.
