Dear Friends and Colleagues, It is a great pleasure and honor to announce the next meeting of The Society of Oral Physiology, the 33rd Store Kro Club Conference, that will be held in Naples on May 23-26, 2024.
We will be happy to welcome you all in Naples, the city where tourists from all over the world come to admire its unique landmarks. The Bay of Naples and the shape of Mount Vesuvius make Naples a city rich with natural views and historical sites. From seeing the ancient ruins of Pompeii to experiencing the modern cuisine of Naples, there’s plenty to do in this region where Greek, Roman, Norman, Bourbon, French, and Spanish cultures had a great influence at one point in history.
Besides these unique and unforgettable surroundings, the main content of the 33 rd conference will be, of course, the scientific program and the friendly exchange of thoughts and discussions.
Along with the tradition of the society, the invitation to the conference in Naples includes the partners of the members and guests.

GETTING TO NAPLES

All roads lead to Naples... there are many ways to reach this splendid city.
Thanks to its strategic position, Naples can be easily reached by air and over land.

By Plane
It has an international airport (Capodichino Aiport) with flights to most European countries The Aeroporto di Napoli-Capodichino (NAP), is located less than 4 miles (6 km) northeast of the city centre and welcomes around a million passengers each year.
To view all destinations operating please visit Airport of Naples From the International Airport of Napoli Capodichino, the best way to reach the conference venue is by taxi. The journey will take about 30 minutes and will cost around 30€ if you ask for the fixed rate at the start of the journey. By public transport take the Alibus to "Napoli Piazza Municipio" just outside the exit of the Arrivals Area at the Airport and then walk to the hotel or take a taxi.

From the train station you can reach the conference venue by taxi, at a fixed rate of € 15 if you ask for the rate at the start of the journey.

Visiting Naples in springtime is a great choice.
The city has many places rich in history and beautiful in the landscape.
Strolling along the Naples seafront in spring is one of the most pleasant experiences that can make both tourists and citizens. The mild temperatures in fact, allows you to walk without risking sunstroke. The promenade where the Conferece is located is lined with historic buildings, famous places that you will find on all maps of the city. In addition, a place to visit and where you can stop after the walk is Villa Comunale, a very wide area where you can stop to read a book or rent a bike and walk all having fun with friends.
The Conference held in Naples will be the perfect combination of “Science” and “Leisure”: We therefore encourage all of you to participate to a wonderful meeting which is very likely to be unforgettable!

All members who intend to come to Naples are kindly asked to fill out the online registration form (button below) at the earliest convenience and in any case no later than 15^th January 2024.

• All fees must be paid via bank transfer (IBAN IT10E0301503200000004121908 BIC: SEPA-FEBIITM1; SWIFT: FEBIITM2) to Media Congress starting from 1 January up to 31 January 2024;
• The official currency of the Congress is EURO (€). No other currency will be accepted. VAT is already included in the registration fee;
• All bank charges must be paid by the participant. Therefore be careful that you transfer your total registration fee, excluding the bank charges;
• The wire should indicate Name and Surname of the participant in the Bank Transfer Description;

• Participation to the conference is considered final only after the registration fees have been paid. The number of participants is limited: once the number of paid registrations reaches the maximum number of participants, unpaid registrations will be cancelled.

Registration Form

All Participants will be required to register for the conference by 15^th January 2024 and pay for the fee from 1^st to 31^st January 2024

INVITING GUESTS

If you wish to invite a guest to the meeting, please fill out in the apposite section in the pre-registration form and we advise you to contact your country’s Senior Member and seek his or her support.
Please remember that “all persons attending for the first time should present a paper (from Rule 5), and “a Member who suggests a person to be invited accepts the responsibility for that person, both with regard to the scientific standards and to his/her ability to contribute to the established general atmosphere of the Store Kro Club” (Rule 6)

FEE

The registrations will be open from 1^st September 2023, and should be paid from 1^st to 31^st January 2024.

The fees includes Hotel accommodation for 3 nights (arrival 23 May departure 26 May – accommodation in superior room sea front), all meals, conference expenses, conference dinner, all social activieties and excursions.
